2025 was a great year for Cal-ITP Benefits. Here's a quick highlight reel.

      • We saw 473 enrollments in 2025. That's a 304% year-over-year change in enrollments from 2024.
      • We logged 6,646 reduced-fare transactions. That's a 138% year-over-year change from 2024. We ended the year with a total of 11,598 reduced-fare transactions since product launch. Crossing the 10,000 reduced-fare transaction mark was a major milestone.
      • We onboarded 3 new transit providers. Nevada County joined us in March, VCTC in October, and San Luis Obispo RTA in December.

      • We launched our integration with Switchio. Agencies contracted with Enghouse use this transit processor for fare processing. VCTC was our first agency to onboard with Switchio, and we have many more in the pipeline to launch in 2026.

      • We beta tested in-person enrollment. SBMTD and MST used this new feature throughout the year as a complement to digital enrollment to enroll seniors, Medicare cardholders, and agency cardholders. In-person enrollments accounted for 16% of all enrollments in 2025. It will become part of the standard product offering in 2026.

      • We conducted eligibility standards research. This important project provides evidence-based recommendations to establish standard eligibility policies in Cal-ITP Benefits for people with disabilities, a key group of riders for whom we plan to expand enrollment in 2026.

We'll share more about our plans for 2026 in upcoming monthly updates. Suffice to say, we are excited about what's in store. We're always here if you have questions. Drop us a line!

      Cheers,
