We're excited to share that we have secured production access to the CalFresh Confirm API. Our low-income enrollment pathway for CalFresh cardholders is now LIVE and available to any agency using the Benefits app. It offers a turn-key benefit option for agencies that want to support digital eligibility checks and enrollment for transit riders that are currently enrolled in CalFresh.
We shared a demo of our Medicare cardholder enrollment pathway for the Blue Button API team, a key step in the process to secure production access to this API. This new benefit option will offer enrollment for one of the three discount groups the FTA requires as a condition of funding. Thus, it's a key component of a complaint discount program for agencies offering contactless fare collection.
We begin onboarding Nevada County Connects to the Benefits app this month. We're excited to have a new agency offering online benefits enrollment to their riders.
Cal-ITP teamed up with Santa Barbara MTD at the 33rd Annual Santa Barbara Senior Expo to beta test in-person enrollments using Cal-ITP Administrator—a new aspect of our product for agency staff. Testing went well! We enrolled 14 riders in under three hours. We look forward to making this new feature available to all agencies using the app to complement digital enrollments.
