• New transit partner: Welcome Nevada County Connects! Nevada County Connects is Cal-ITP’s newest transit partner to offer contactless payment and transit benefit enrollment using Cal-ITP Benefits. They completed their soft launch this month, offering benefit enrollment for older adults and Medicare cardholders. Stay tuned for their official public announcement coming in April.
  
  

• New resource: CalFresh enrollment video

• Medicare cardholder enrollment now available at more agencies.

  Santa Barbara MTD and Sacramento Regional Transit now offer Medicare cardholder enrollment, expanding enrollment options for eligible riders to receive reduced fares when using contactless payment. • We met our metrics goals for 2024!
  In mid-January, we surpassed 5,000 reduced-fare transactions and 225 total enrollments. For 2025, we're aiming higher: 425 total enrollments and 10,000 reduced-fare transactions.
